Support for Kidney Transplant

A woman in her early twenties has end-stage renal disease and has been on haemodialysis three times a week since October 2024. The treatment has placed a heavy financial burden on her family. A transplant has been planned. Her father is willing to donate a kidney and has been medically evaluated as a suitable donor. The hospital estimates the whole cost at ₹7,50,000, covering the pre-transplant evaluation, the procedure for both patient and donor, and six months of post-transplant medication. Alorah Foundation will contribute ₹1,50,000, paid to the hospital directly.
