CSR partnerships with Alorah Foundation, built for your audit

Alorah Foundation runs defined, time bound projects, each with its own budget, due date, photographed five year timeline and rupee level utilisation ledger. Your CSR team gets exactly what its board and its auditors ask for: a named project, receipts, photographs over years, and our audited financials.

What your team receives

  • A named project with a defined budget and due date, not a line in a general appeal.
  • A fund utilisation certificate and a rupee level trail against that project.
  • Stage wise photographs, taken before, after and at one, two and five years.
  • 80G receipts for the contribution, and Form 10BE after the year end filing.
  • Annual audited statements, published openly rather than sent on request.

Why project wise, and why five years

A CSR report that says a sum was donated to a charity tells a board nothing it can defend. A report that names the project, the district, the families, the amount and what the site looked like three years later is a different document, and it is the one we are set up to produce. Every need we publish already carries a goal, a running total and a shortfall, and every funded project is followed and photographed for five years. Your reporting is a by product of how the trust works rather than something assembled at the end of the year.

Where a beneficiary’s dignity asks for privacy, a project carries no photographs and is documented in writing instead. We will tell your team that before the project starts, not after your report has been designed around images that will not exist.

The nine areas we work in

Most CSR mandates map onto one or two of these. Read the cause pages for what each one actually involves in the field.

Our compliance position, stated plainly

Alorah Foundation is a public charitable trust registered in Tamil Nadu.

  • Trust registration: Reg No. 4/82/2026
  • PAN: AAMTA4503G
  • NGO Darpan: TN/2026/0442383
  • 80G approval: AAMTA4503GF20261
  • 12AB registration: AAMTA4503GE20261

Form CSR-1 is the separate registration that lets a company book a contribution as CSR expenditure under Section 135 of the Companies Act, 2013. It is filed with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs and it is not the same thing as 12AB or 80G. Ask us for our current position on CSR-1 at the first conversation and we will tell you exactly where it stands, in writing, before your team spends any time on a proposal.

The trust does not hold FCRA registration, so it cannot receive foreign contributions. A contribution from an Indian entity is unaffected.

We would rather lose a proposal for saying this early than have a CSR team discover it at the audit.

How a partnership starts

Write to us with your focus area, the budget window and the districts you want covered. We come back with a shortlist of real, verified needs that fit, each with a cost and a timeline. You pick one, or you fund a group of them. There is no retainer, no percentage taken off the top for administration, and no obligation from a first conversation.
