Apply for assistance
Tell us what you need and we will look at it with care and respect.
Or read the answers below first. The form itself is at the bottom of them.
- Phone photos are fineTake it in good light with the whole document in the frame. A clear, sharp copy is checked and approved faster; a blurred one slows everything down.
- Tamil & Malayalam welcomePapers in Tamil or Malayalam are accepted.

Before you apply
The questions people ask us most, answered here so you do not have to ask first. Open any of them, or go straight to the form.
Who can apply
- Anyone in India who needs one of the kinds of help listed below, whatever their religion, caste, language or state.
- You may apply for somebody else: a patient, a friend, a sister, a parent. Tell us in your own words who you are to them.
- We come and see before we pay. If you live far from Coimbatore that takes longer, and we may work through your hospital or college instead of visiting.
What we can do, and what we cannot
- We pay the school, the hospital or the shop directly, against their bill. We do not hand over cash. This protects you and it keeps our accounts clean.
- Food and ration far from Coimbatore is the one exception. Where there is no shop we can pay and nobody from our team near enough to buy it, we may transfer the money to the applicant's own bank account instead. We ask for the bill or the photographs afterwards, and the account has to be in the name of the person who applied.
- We usually pay part of a bill, not all of it. Tell us the whole amount and also the smaller sum that would genuinely help, because the smaller one is often the one we can do.
- We can buy a thing instead of giving money: a wheelchair, a sewing machine, tools, a cart, school books. Ask for the thing you need.
- We cannot take on a cost that repeats for the rest of a life. If your treatment needs a payment every month for years, apply anyway and say so, and we will tell you plainly what we can and cannot carry.
- The work is old, the fund is small. The people behind Alorah have been at this on the ground for more than fifteen years, and the trust itself was registered in 2026, so what it can pay out in a month is still modest. If what you need runs into lakhs, please keep asking other people and other trusts at the same time. We would rather say that now than have you wait on us alone.
What to send us
Different for each kind of help, so here is the whole list. You only need the ones for your own kind. A photograph taken on your phone is enough, and a PDF is fine too.
If a paper marked Required is missing, WhatsApp us and tell us which one. Never pay anybody for a document on our account.
What happens after you send it
- You get an application number on this screen. Write it down, and send it to us on WhatsApp.
- Our team reads it and rings you on the number you gave, usually within a few days.
- We check it. We may telephone the hospital, the school or the shop, and someone from our team may come to your home.
- We decide, and we tell you either way. If we cannot help, we will say so rather than leave you waiting.
If your date is close, say so in your own words, and mention it when you send us your application number on WhatsApp. A form cannot shout, and somebody with a deadline this week should not be waiting in the same queue as somebody whose fee is due next term.
- Lay the paper flat on a table or the floor.
- Get as much light on it as you can, and keep your shadow off it.
- Fill the screen with the paper and hold still.

We have your application
Thank you for trusting us. Please write this number down, and send it to us on WhatsApp. That is how we find your application.
Our team will look at it and call you on the number you gave. If anything is missing, we will help you get it.
Please remember: this is not approval yet. We will check what you have told us, and help depends on the trust having funds at the time. We will let you know either way. Please do not borrow money or promise anyone payment while you wait.
