Your record
Delete your Alorah account
This closes your sign in and removes your contact details from our records. You can do it here, without installing anything, or from Account in the Alorah app.
What happens when you delete
Removed straight away
Your email address and mobile number, your Aadhaar number if we hold one, every device you are signed in on, and your entry on the public donor wall. Once your email and mobile are gone there is no way to sign in again, because there is nothing left for us to look you up by.
Kept, because the law requires it
Your donations, their 80G receipts, and the name, address and PAN printed on them. A receipt is a tax document: the trust has to be able to show who it was issued to, and your own tax return rests on the same record. We cannot delete those, so we will not tell you that we have.
Applying for assistance is separate and is not an account. Nothing here touches an application. If you want an application withdrawn, please WhatsApp the trust and ask, and a trustee will do it.
Confirm it is you
Enter the mobile number or email address on your donation record. We email a six digit code to the address we hold, so only you can finish this.
No code arriving? It may be that your donation was registered without an email address, in which case there is nothing for us to send to. WhatsApp the trust and a trustee will close your account for you.
