The light · from Elohim
The radiance that reaches the darkest corner of a life and refuses to leave it dark.
Registered charitable trust · 80G tax benefit · Serving across India
Alorah carries light to the poor, the sick, and the forgotten across India — carrying on more than 15 years of grassroots service, now formally established as a registered trust. Every life we reach was chosen, and none is ever left behind.
A grassroots effort for over 15 years — registered as Alorah Foundation in 2026 to formalise and grow the work.
Our name
Alorah is the light of the Most High, carried on a Seraph’s wing.
The radiance that reaches the darkest corner of a life and refuses to leave it dark.
The highest angel, closest to the throne: our reminder to serve with reverence, and to carry that light to whoever needs it, without exception.
What we do
From a plate of food today to a child’s schooling for a decade, our work spans the whole arc of a human life, offered to all without discrimination.
Community kitchens, food distribution, and emergency aid. Food, clothing, and shelter for the destitute.
Scholarships, books, digital devices, and vocational training so circumstances never cap a future.
Medical camps, mobile units, counselling, and rehabilitation for body and mind alike.
Self-help groups, financial inclusion, and enterprise toward real economic independence.
Protection from exploitation, newborn and maternal support, nutrition, safety, and development.
Old-age support, and dignified help in bereavement: ambulance, funeral, and grief support.
Afforestation, water conservation, and support for organic farming and rural livelihoods.
Rapid shelter, food, medical care, and reconstruction for those struck by flood, fire, or calamity.
Vehicles, tools, and training gifted to deserving families so charity becomes lasting self-employment.
A need right now
Every open need shows exactly what is required, what has come in, and what is still short — and every project is photographed before, after, and for years afterwards, so you can watch your gift keep working.
Thalavadi Hills · Erode District · Tamil Nadu
Sixty tribal families live without power after dusk. Solar home lights let children study and mothers work safely into the evening. We install, and we return to maintain them for years.

For companies
Alorah runs defined, time-bound projects — each with its own budget, due date, photographed five-year timeline, and rupee-level utilization ledger. Your CSR team gets exactly what its board and auditors ask for: a named project, receipts, photographs over years, and our audited financials.
