The first thousand days decide a great deal of the rest. Alorah Foundation supports expectant mothers and young children with nutrition, medical care and protection, and stays with the family afterwards.

Maternal need is quiet. A mother short of iron and of checkups rarely asks anybody for anything, and the cost of that silence appears years later in a child.
