Coimbatore DistrictA 41-year-old mother in Coimbatore District is under treatment for AA amyloidosis with kidney involvement. She is on haemodialysis and on an injection her doctors have prescribed alongside it, and both run to a schedule that does not pause.
The treatment is a course rather than a single bill. Her family has met it this far, and what has given way around it is the ordinary weekly shopping.
Alorah Foundation is raising ₹30,000 against this need: part towards her treatment, part for the family's rations while it continues. The medical share is paid against the hospital's own bill, the rations are bought and handed over, and the receipts for both are on this page.
₹30,000 does not cover her treatment. It covers the next stretch of it, and it keeps food in the house while she gets through it.
